The day before cropping ...

The day of cropping (as you can see, the puppies are playing like usual) ...

The foam block stays on while the stitches are in, and the incision is healing.  The stitches usually stay in for a week  ...

The foam block stays on the head for about 2 weeks and when it comes off, the ears look like this ...

When the incision is all healed, you start posting (your breeder should show you exactly how to do this) ...

You need to take the ears down every few days, clean them out, let them dry and then repost.  You're likely to see something like this after a few weeks ...

You may need to post only one ear after a while ...

Keep at it!  Eventually, you end up with this ...
