“Parenting with Power”  addresses parents’ concerns and conflicts with their children.  It looks at parent goals and how we teach and guide the skills that we hope for.  It empowers parents to parent and set boundaries while at the same time helping children become independent and their own individuals.  Parenting is a balancing act full of challenges and rewards

 

 ACES: Anger Management

 “Wrangling Anger” focuses on  awareness and the strategies to maintain self-control of emotions and the choices that we make. Being aware of the threats and how we give in to anger, allowing it to drag us away from our chosen path, gives us the power to regain our control and step back onto our life’s path.  Your life, your emotions, your choice.

 

Taking Stress out of Life

·                 We love our “comfort zones”.

·                 We need our “comfort zones”.

·                 We also grow beyond our “comfort zones”.

·                 Stresses are signs that we need a change—a change in our path, a change in our goals and/or a change in our perspectives.

“Taking the Stress Out of Life” helps individuals identify the cues that their lives are in need of a change as well as the strategies to make these changes happen in a healthy and effective manner.

To overcome stress one must recognize the cues, the triggers and how they conflict with
personal goals and what needs to happen to move to the next
comfort zone—a stepping stone along life’s path.

Talking Love Languages

Based on Gary Chapman’s books on “The 5 Love Languages”  participants of this workshop will discuss the languages as identified by Gary Chapman and how they pertain to the relationships in their lives.
